With new resources several projects came our way. “Sylvia’s Path” was the dramatic story of the daughter of a high-ranking Nazi during WWII who, obsessed by guilt, decided to build a monastery for Tibetan refugees on the border with China.  Aired on PBS.

“The Knights of Malta” was a study of a thousand-year-old Order with a mysterious and fascinating history. This took us to a dozen countries, from Scotland to Syria and Lebanon and became the official story for the country of Malta.

Out of this exploration of the physical world came  “Compulsive Traveler” which became a TV series airing on CBS Television from 2002 to 2007 with some of the highest ratings for the period.

“The Seagull” marries storytelling and travel with the story of a young island boy separated from his favorite soccer ball – through the ball’s quirky viewpoint. This innovative arc quietly turning the destination into a living character was rewarded by selections from several festivals.
